Cory Mitchell, Owner

Cory founded Hadley Chimney Las Vegas in 2003 after spending his early career learning the trade the hard way, on roofs and in crawl spaces across Southern Nevada. He still runs jobs personally when the schedule demands it, and he’s the one who reads every inspection report before it goes to a customer. Cory’s philosophy is simple: if a repair can’t be proven with a camera, it doesn’t need to happen. Ask him about creosote and you’ll get the trade term first, then the plain-language version. “Creosote is just flammable tar buildup,” he’ll tell you. “It’s what makes a dirty chimney a fire risk, not a cosmetic problem.” When he’s not on a roof, Cory tests new repair materials and keeps the shop stocked with DuraFlex, HeatShield, and Copperfield parts so the crew never has to “make do” with whatever’s cheapest on the truck.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with Hadley for eleven years, which means he’s swept somewhere north of 6,000 chimneys in Las Vegas and the surrounding valley. He’s our go-to for liner inspections and the guy who can spot a cracked flue tile from a photo most people would ignore. Marcus holds manufacturer certifications for DuraFlex flexible liner installation and HeatShield ceramic repair application, and he trains every new tech on our camera inspection protocol.
